Responsibilities:

 Essential Job Functions

Ensure the accurate, complete and timely preparation of monthly financial statements, job cost reports, and bank requisitions.  Specific duties include:

 

  • Prepare monthly closing entries and document support
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
  • Maintain supporting schedules for general ledger balances
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis for Job Cost Reports
  • Upload job budgets into job cost and reconcile to Management Investment Committee approvals
  • Upload capital expenditure budgets and reconcile to approved budget
  • Review construction requisitions and development invoices for coding and compliance and approve for payment processing   
  • Prepare and post monthly overhead journal entries
  • Prepare monthly PeopleSoft to Timberline reconciliations
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements
  • Complete special projects as assigned
  • Assist construction and development administrative assistants with Timberline related issues
  • Assist with training of new staff and Accounts Payable analysts
  • Assist with the documentation of procedures and work flow processes


Qualifications:

 Skills, Knowledge, Experience

  • Strong knowledge of spreadsheet software

  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong sense of teamwork and work ethic
  • Knowledge of computer systems

 Education/Licensing

  • Degree in Accounting from an accredited business school , GPA of 3.0 or higher
