This position can be based in CA, WA, CO, VA, MD, FL, NY, NJ, CT, MA, DC.

The Role

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead feature team(s) and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices, and full stack systems to create solutions that help meet our North Star vision.
  • Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community, and from time to time, be asked to code or evaluate code
  • Collaborate with engineering and architecture leadership team, digital product managers to define and drive team agenda, create solution architecture, help continuously groom product features and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help achieve our North Star vision
  • Utilize programming languages like ReactJS, NodeJS, Python, Go, OpenSource RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Kafka, Serverless, and a variety of AWS tools and services (Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, SQS, SNS, S3, Kinesis, etc.)

You Have...

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 10 years of experience in software engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience with AWS
  • At least 5 years of experience in designing and developing applications in ReactJS, NodeJS, PostGres
  • At least 3 years of experience in architecting complex systems
  • At least 5 years of experience in tech lead role


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree
  • 12+ years of experience in architecting and designing complex systems
  • 5+ years of people leadership like coaching, mentoring other engineers
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile practices
  • Proficiency in designing micro-frontend & microservice architecture platform / product solutions
  • Proficiency in designing event driven – message hub solutions
